Q1: Where does your coconut shell carbonized material come from?
Our raw materials are mainly sourced from Indonesia and the Philippines, where we have built our own carbonization factory to collect coconut shells and carbonize them locally — no middlemen, full quality control from the source.
Q2: Do you test the coconut shell carbonized material before production?
Yes — and we do it locally in Indonesia and the Philippines, before import: carbon content, moisture, and volatile matter are all checked. Substandard raw materials never enter China, let alone our production lines.
Q3: What does the raw material pre-treatment mainly remove?
We mainly remove sand, soil and other impurities, as well as residual volatile matter from the carbonized coconut shell — ensuring clean, stable feedstock entering the activation furnace. This is the foundation of high-iodine-value activated carbon and batch-to-batch consistency.
Q4: What is the activation furnace temperature, and what is the output per furnace?
The activation temperature is stably maintained at 800°C. Activation time and output vary by iodine value specification. Taking 1200 iodine value coconut shell activated carbon as an example: each activation furnace produces 18 tons per 24 hours; with 2 furnaces at this plant, that's 36 tons per day, around 1,000 tons per month — ample, stable capacity, and exactly what the customer needed to escape the "insufficient Indian supply" dilemma.
Q5: How do you control the moisture of coconut shell activated carbon during production?
All finished products are sealed; if ambient humidity is too high, our dedicated drying equipment performs a second drying on finished products to ensure moisture indicators remain stable batch after batch.
Q6: Which indicators do you test for finished products?
We test all key indicators — CTC, iodine value, moisture, ash content, hardness, and more. Our QC center is fully equipped and SGS reports are available. In addition, we provide a COA (Certificate of Analysis) + SGS certificate with every batch — double assurance, with fully traceable specifications.
